Media and Journalism Studies
Area of Study: Media and Journalism Studies

The Media and Journalism Studies (MJS) program at Tri-C teaches students the essentials of writing for magazines, social media, websites, newspapers, TV, public relations and more.
The program explains the basics of news media, culture and politics. Hands-on training is offered through internships and writing for The Voice, the College’s student-run newspaper.
Students may choose to enroll in the program with the goal of transferring a four-year school for a bachelor’s degree. Our agreement with Cleveland State University (CSU) provides a seamless transfer path. Please visit the transfer center page to view all partnering schools.
